South of Limonest
Limonest is a small town located 10km north of Lyon. Just 40 minutes by bus from Perrache, this hike around Lyon will offer you a breathtaking view of the Monts du Lyonnais. Between the old washhouse which is worth the detour and the fields as far as the eye can see, this pretty 4.6 km loop will amaze you. Enjoy a breath of fresh air with family or friends.
On the banks of Ratier and Ribes
With the oppressive heat of August, staying in direct sunlight all day is out of the question! Once you get off the bus at Saint-Genis-Les-Ollières, take a walk in the forest along pretty streams. An educational trail for children and a relaxing atmosphere for parents, this 8.6 km trail will delight the whole family!
Around Saint-Didier
We have reserved an 11 km hike for the more sporty. Hold on to your trainers because the difference in altitude is there. Walk and discover orchards, old cabornes and enjoy a spectacular panorama of the city of Lyon!
On the banks of the Saône
Let yourself be guided by the banks of the Saône and enjoy its quays! This 9.3 km Lyon hike will offer you castles, historical monuments and something to cool off on the route. Pass through Caluire and surrender to the surrounding calm!
On the quarry paths of Couzon au-Mont-d’or
Not far from Couzon station, this Lyon hike will warm your calves. The paths of this 4.7 km loop will guide you towards the “de Couzon” stone. Located at the top, you will be impossible to miss it. You will be able to enjoy its history and learn a little more about Couzon and its surroundings. When you arrive at the top, you will be able to enjoy a view of the Saône and the surrounding mountains.
